saxo O2 sensors

   Hi there,
   Can any one help with my dilemma. My saxo 1.1 year 2000 failed the mot on emissions. Running engine check pro showed the O2 sensors showed 0 volt output and the system was open loop. changing the sensors for a pair of second hand ones gives the same reading. fed up of looking at car would rather be drinking.

   1st off do you know if the sensors you fitted are working properly before you fitted them to your car?

   not impossible for the cables to be knackered. I'd have thought you would've known to check that though?

   Can not be 100% certain that replacement sensors are OK but they came from a running car at a breakers yard. Have checked wires from the sensor in the manifold and they go to the correct terminals. Cheers for any help.
