Help over revving

    Hi can someone help I just purchased a vtr 2002 1600cc for my son, as he drives the Rev's just go up, so I looked on here and the advice could be the sensor for the coolant so I changed it and still it over Revs Intermittent I'm worried as a farther getting dangerous please help thanks

    Everyone will say it's the idle control valve that needs a clean, I don't know where it is though!
