Engine swap!

   Hello I have a 2002 3 plug ecu vtr and was just wondering how easy it would be to put my Vts engine in it lol
   It's a 2000 reg Vts with a single plug ecu and the engine has been cammed and the ecu remapped? Any help would be greatful x

   The 16v engine loom will need splicing to fit the interior loom

   What about if I changed the interior loom aswell would that solve my problem?

    Yeah change the interior loom to a single plug loom ad you're away or splice the looms

    Just looked at both my cars and the plug at the front of the car where the engine looms joins the interior loom and the plug is exactly the same on both cars will it be a simple swap over of the engine looms?

    In that case then yeah it should just be plug ad play if it's one big plug like you're saying yus?

    Yeah it's one big plug on both cars just one is single plug and one is 3 plug ecu is there anything else that needs to be changed?

    thatll be reet then sir, and yeah the throttle cable but fuck using a genuine cable!
    2 quid from halfords for gear cable and trust me does that work a treat!

    then again you do have a donor car dont you, so entirely upto you if you wish to use the throttle cable off the vts but if not like i said you can use bike gear cable mate

    How did you manage to mount it to the pedal end? The gear cable I had only had one metal stopper thing on the end which only just fits the throttle body

    im having bother with this conversion as there is no transponder in the vtr behind the centre of the dash where as I need one foer the vts conversion same year of car must have been on the change over
