Important! : New induction kit/breather pipe

    Hi guys been looking on here for a while now and just wanted to double check something. I'm going to be ordering a new induction kit and it doesn't have a slot for the breather pipe to go back into the air box etc... Like it does with the original. So just wanted to check if sticking a catch tank or breather pipe filter thing would be ok or am I best get an induction kit with the slot for the breather pipe. Would my car run ok without the breather pipe running back to the induction kit.Cheers Alex

    in short the answer is yes. Catch tank or vent it with a little filter to air

    Cheers mate, and this should Not have any effect on the running of the car. what the heck is there a breather pipe there for in the first place if it doesn't really do much and doesn't need to go back into the induction kit etc... Cheers mate much appreciated

    Breather set up is for emission controls - instead of venting oil to atmosphere, it gets burnt in the engine.
