106 Gti brake problem

Hi, I don't really post often on the forum but hope you can help.
I've got a 99 106 Gti, the back right brake locks up before the others. The abs doesn't work so shouldn't have anything to do with it. The caliper and slider is all fine. I've had it on the brake rollers at work and it shows there's nothing wrong but if you go down the road at say 30 and brake hard the back right locks up?

I've got a trackday at cadwell on Wednesday so it needs sorting ASAP,
    Any help appreciated

    Brake bias valve?

    shot beam/damper ?

The brake bias valve is free and unseized. Could a damper really cause it? When I brought the car it was stupidly low so I raised the torsion car and I didn't notice it before this

Take the damper off, clean it up then compress the ends together to check for leaks.

Even if you think the brake valve is free it might not be working well. Mine was like this so I changed it

I checked the dampers when i raised the axle. If the bias valve was dodgy doesn't that mean both brakes would lock up across the same axle? Say either the front or rear? Can the bias valve be cleaned or blown out?

You can free a bias valve off.

The bias valve is free as said before. I checked the shocks, beam, calipers and bias valve again today and they all appear fine, any ideas?

When you had it on the brake rollers and it was "fine" what were the readings you got?

If one was 80 and the other was 80.5 then that 0.5 will be the difference.

When you brake hard, you're taking all the weight off the rear axle, so of course one of the rear wheels are going to lock up. to stop this, you need to ADJUST the compensator.

The chances are, when the car was first lowered the compensator hasn't been touched. If you haven't raised the axle to OEM height, then there's still too much pressure going to the rear brakes.

Alternatively, you can fix your ABS and then your wheels won't lock up at all
