Front wipers over hanging

  1. #1
Hi guys I've got the aero style front wiper blades and my drivers side hangs over and sits on top of the passenger one.

    I've got:

    Drivers side 20"
    Passenger side 18"

How do you guys that use these types of blades get around it?
    Thanks

    Swap them over?

Blades are the correct lengths for both sides,it seems like wiper arms need swapping over.

Nope. Shorter should be on drivers side.

Before I took them off the longest arm was on the drivers side and the shorted arm was on the passenger side? Is this the problem?

    What was the problem!?!??!!??

18" goes on the passenger side
20" goes on the drivers side.

If they overlap, your arms are on the wrong way around, the "shorter" more angular arm goes on the drivers side.

the black saxo you see in that link, has the wiper arms fitted incorrectly.

Otherwise, you end up with a hell of a unswept area in the bottom corner of the drivers side window.

Ye I had the 18" blade on the passenger and the 20" on the drivers side but the problem was the wiper arms were the wrong way round the short arm was on the passenger side and the long one was on the drivers side so swapped the arms around. Thanks guys
