708s seal

   Can't for the life of me get the cam seals to seal
   
   Had genuine seals when I bought the car but I think they're the original from the standard cams then i tried some from euro and still leaks
   
   bought some genuine ones to fit but am I wasting my time?
   
   or any tips to help with sealing ?

   got any pictures of where the leak is coming from?

   I don't think its leaking from the seal seat on the head/ladder its actually leaking from the camshaft, i go through about 300ml of oil a week

   so do you mean where the actual cam shaft sits in the seal? 300ml is a lot of oil...

   Are the cams scored/dented at all? do they seem like a tight fit? Did you put some oil on the seals before fitting them? does it do it with both cams or just one?

   just the exhaust cam the cams did have abit of scoring on but nothing that worried me tbh

   Is the seal a tight fit on the exhaust cam?

   Yeah pretty much so, I didn't soak the seal in oil just rubbed a bit round the seal

    My mates mrs VTS did this with me. Regardless of how meticulous I was, what seals I used, how much/little oil I used, it absolutely battered oil out the cam seal. Sorry I cant help, hope you get yours fixed

    Going to be sorting it this weekend, needs to be sorted tbh
