106 gti dials in a saxo

   Are they the same when it comes to plugs etc? Think the early black gti dials look better than the blue saxo ones. Also they fit the saxo dash pod right? Never looked closely at a set

   as lpong as its single plug clocks to single plug it'll fit dude
   got saxo clocks in my pug and fit straight in mate

   All are interchangeable completely. Single to single plug or three to three.
   If you're that way inclined and don't mind an extra hour of fiddling, single to three plug is also possible

   Awesome, was just curious as the 106 gti had a different engine loom so I though there might be differences. I'm not too keen on the digital white dials, however I like the black gti ones so maybe a change to a set of those is something for a rainy day as I've currently only got vtr ones with the lower marked red line

   Can u easily replace the 286 bulbs just to brighten on mk1 1999 saxo

   The bulbs are easy to replace,just remember though in front of them is green filter which will darken them down a bit.

   Tried lookin on youtube for video to help me as im total novice n dont want to end up with car in bits and insure where to put things back.

   Follow the Haynes manual to the letter and it's dead easy. Just be sure to mark the steering wheel position before you remove it.

    Is it just push in t5 white bulbs? Think there bout 2quid for ten on ebay
    Did uou remove the infamous ml1 green film on dials

    no left the green film, just put the leds in the bulb holders and refitted the dash
