that kit has potential. it could look nice but i'm not very keen on that rear bumper.
  6. #6
    looks diffenernt

    could look good
  7. #7
    do it dude.

The kit seems cheap (which is good, could be bad...) and different but not in a shite way

i think if you combined that kit with a badboy bonnet it would look nice. dont think it will look right with the standard bonnet as the lines are to sharp and straight if you know what i mean, and euro is all about the curves and smooth lines

I myself am not too keen on the kit. It just looks "too" much in my opinion. Euro is not really about sticking bodykits onto cars. It's all about colour coding and smoothing the original or a very subtle kit. Subtle modifications have such improvements. What wheels are you thinking of getting? How low are you thinking of going? With that kit... you're going to have major problems with using the car on a day-to-day basis (pot holes, speed bumps, etc...). I have a few problems with my car atm and it has the standard VT* kit and is lowered 60mm on 15" rims.

that what u just thought of cos i wont 15" rims but my wheel are 3 pined and i dont know where to get some for the car can u help me about it

Things are a little easier now because a few more places are selling three stud wheels. If you're wanting to go down the Euro route, you'd need to slam the car and wack on some deep dish wheels. I don't know of any places that make three studded deep dish rims. I don't think it's the cheapest/better option but how about looking into having a four stud conversion? After all... the money you're going to be spending on the kit, having it sprayed and fitted, etc... you might as well sort the wheels out at the same time.

Btw... you do know it will cost a lot of money to achieve a proper Euro car (especially if fitting a kit). What is your approx budget?

i got about 2k for the styling but i am a mechcanic so all the mod will be done by me hopefully lol can u get me a site for the 4 stud conversoin plz

Do a search on Ebay mate... There are a few kits on there. With you being a mechanic, surely you'd know of people/places where it could be done? :-S Sorry... just trying to state the obvious.

have you considered putting a vt* kit on your car?
  17. #17
Go for it mate! that would look great!
  18. #18
yer i have but it just seems to pricie at £755 for that kit inless u know some one that got a mk1 vts kit for sale and going cheep

i know of people who have bought the whole kit for £130 so you would easily be able to do it for less than that other kit you are looking at. also it doesnt need to be a mk1 kit, all the kits are the same so if you can get hold of one at all it will fit. it could be from a furio, westcoast, vtr, vts mk1 or mk2 etc

thanks for that u can tell that i am new to saxos lol

best thing to do is keep checking ebay and the for sale section here.
there was a vt* kit on ebay the other day that sold for £100 but that didnt include the front or rear bumpers

    rigth boyo
    deeped wheels
    buy a full vt kit
smooth bump strips and colour code
    smooth fog ligth holes
cut the bottom grill out and smooth again
take the top grill out (the black bit) and mesh
    a lipped bonnet
and a smoothed tailgate (badge holes and nub plates bit)
    smooth roof gullies
    respery

this it my plan and i know it will work well!!!!
