Keyfob unlocks then immediately locks & vice versa

Have developed a problem with the keyfob where you go to unlock it and it immediately locks itself or lock and it immediately unlocks.

The normal central locking is fine using the key.

I had this when something was obstructing the door pin.

Might be a faulty door switch, check they all work properly.

A stiff locking pin caused mine to do this..

Sometimes if you've had the doorcard off or if it's not clipped on central then it will foul the locking pin.Causing the problems you described.

The last Saxo I had did this and it was the boot locking mechanism sticking in the open position.

that happened to me the other day, my battery terminals weren't on properly

stiff lock pin or something is in the way. Had it once. Take the door card off, test, adjust if needed and refit.

Most likely the boot actuator if a bit of wd40 doesn't solve the lock.

Ok I thought I'd fixed it had it apart depinned while I was at it put door card back on - fine. The next day it starts doing it again, I'm thinking of getting a known working actuator to try as I can't see that it can be anything else now because nothing is getting caught up everythings been lubed.
About 1/2 the time it works when it doesn't it just locks or unlocks immediately like before.

My furio did exactly the same as others have said, it's probly just a stuck door pin or it's slightly obstructed by the door card! Just have a fiddle with it

Try it again, I went through that myself. After a bit of fiddling around for the second time it went back to normal.

the current actuator is not making any funny noises is it, as in whirring? They all tend to do that when broken. Sounds a bit like this:

Yep it isn't right now making the whirring sound but it has had a whir noise regularly off and on ever since I've owned it but only recently started doing the unlocking locking thing.
