The handbrake on the car seems to be feeling a bit stiffer than usual when i pull it up. Not sure if this has got anything to do with it being wet outside as i drove it to work this morning and it has been raining all day and night. When i got home around 30 mins ago, i checked the handbrake by parking the car facing downhill and released the handbrake, the car did start to roll down very slowly after around 10 seconds.
Could this have anything to do with the weather as i just had the MOT'd last week and there were no handbrake issues and its been since then, apart from the stiffer handbrake today.
I did try to listen for some sort of grinding noise when driving but a bit difficult with the rain coming down, other traffic passing by and the car has quite a loud exhaust system.
Any advnice much appreciated.
