anyone ever been done for tailgating an ambulance?

    Was on my way home from work goin through a village and saw an ambulance behind so pulled over to let them by. More or less set off straight away as was clear behind. The next 3 corners were pretty tight and i was behind them after the second id say. I was only doin 30 so they must of been doin less as corners are tight. After the next corner all of a sudden the prik slammed on in the middle of the road. Passenger paramedic gets out walks up to me sayin is there any reason your tailgating us. I said i aint tailgating ya im doin 30mph which i was. He then goes on to say well you passed the car that we just passed. It was still pulled over as i was passing by the way. Then he said hes gonna report me lol while walking away looking at my plate. Does anyone know if they have cameras on the back?. If they try doin me for this i will appeal or go to court if i have to as done fuk all wrong imo. And if it was a genuine emergency surely i wouldnt be keeping up with them at 30mph. Obviously had no one in the back or wouldnt of slammed on.

    Like i said was doing 30 was and no where near their back end either. I think its because i passed the car that they passed after me. He could of been doing anything though. I stopped well before the cars infront of me so i had time to get up to 30 again as the ambulance went about 20 if that round the corners so i was behind it.

    Lol What i thought aswell. He didnt write anything down and was a total bellend. I was behind them for the next 5 mile doin speed limits and they still were infront of me. Winds me up shit like this.

    Some years ago, while "making progress" across some country back roads I came across an ambulance. It was dusk, and the sun was at a height which made light tricky. The road however was clear, so I overtook and carried on my way.

    Once I'd passed him it was very clear in my mirrors that his lights were on and he was on his way somewhere lol.

    I hate people that take advantage of blue lights.

    Get 'em all the time at work, also get the ones that take it as excuse to put their foot down whilst you are behind on blues & twos..
