   hi there guys. can someone tell me where the thermostat is on a saxo vtr please.

   On the head, right hand side where the large pipe from the rad joins. In a housing to hold it

   Once the rad hose is off, its 2 10mm bolts which you can see straight away. Dead easy

   also fellas anyone know if a thermostat off a vtr will fit a 1.1 forte.

   No it won't had to take one back. The bolt and connector size are too big.

   i believe the stats to be all the same, housing not withstanding. Can get them with different values

    Yes it should fit no problems if its a mk1 vtr small rad, if its a larger mk2 vtr radiator which they fitted to the vts then it'll still fit but require minor mods to fit it (cutting back of the lower rad hose, removal of some plastic air ducting panels on the front/slam panel)

    Not sure on a vtr one mate, when my rad broke on my forte i got a nissen radiator as a replacement. best sticking with original rads as the nissens don't seem to have a max level when you fill them up only min.
