Important! : vts wont start

   last night I come to start my car and it did only for 30 seconds then died so I tryed to restart it and nothing but now there's a click from the ecu and the idle control valve but the ecu is a loud click and the idle control valve is a ticking noise
   
   
   whats happened do I need a new ecu
   ??
   
   it was a unlocked ecu 6 month ago

   my car done this, after putting a new engine in, was fine then it died whilst I was driving, had a look around, and I cleaned up alternator connections, along with the battery, seemed to be fine... then I did have to buy a new alternator a week later....

   really ?/ as my ecu did smell abit after it shut down

   The click sounds like the starter solenoid. I'd say not enough juice in the battery or you've got a bad earth.

   100% that the clicking noise is coming from the ecu and idle control valve

   found the issue there was a green wire and now its burned out

   obvious sign that you have some dodgy electrics (stereo/amp/sub?) somewhere.
