Bird Droppings on Car - Advice Needed

    During yesterday it seems like around 10-12 birds have decided to let their droppings fall onto my car. The issue is that the droppings have really hardened as i only managed to see them yesterday evening after work.

    I have again inspected them this morning and they seem to have really cemented and looks like they won't be moving. What is worse is that they have hit almost every panel on the car including the front bumper which i only had resprayed a couple of weeks ago. Also the roof and bonnet on my car has got black wrap on it which is also now marked with the bird droppings some of which are quite big in size.

    I don't have access to a pressure washer, but i do have car cleaning items with me at work including car shampoo, microfiber mitt and microfiber drying towels. I don't think this may remove the bird droppings, although i am going to attempt the wet tissue in warm water approach by leaving it on the bird droppings for a bit and then removing, hoping that it will loosen it.

    Any advice much appreciated.

    There's nest's on my roof / neighbour's roof's as well and I'm having the exact same problem. I just washed by car with Autoglym Shampoo then used Autoglym SRP which got it all sorted. I now have a full car cover on my car as I was washing it and one day later it was covered in shit again.

    I would love to go pull the nest down but I wouldn't have the heart to do it lol

    Any idea on how long after the bird droppings did you wash your car and were they really like hardened on the paintwork. You must have had to really rub on the droppings to get rid of them if hardened. It seems like mine has been hit by various birds as the colours of the droppings vary in size and colour from like a brown, greenish and white.

    To be honest I didn't pay much attention to the colour hahaha Just wash you car as your normally do and they should come off, I think using shampoo in warm water helped break them down so use a bucket of warm water and this should help.

    P.S. A car cover from eBay cost me £10 and has saved sorted out this problem for me.

    Was going to suggest tar remover to get rid of the bird droppings.Not sure though if it would damage new paint.

    I spray window cleaning fluid to loosen the shit, wait a few minutes than spray again, and again wait a couple of minutes while I put a full kettle on. Then I drop boiling water on it to break it down some more and remove what's left GENTLY with warm bucket + W5 washing liquid (as in ultra concentrated fairy liquid from lidl) and microfiber rags.

    And i say gently as I have seen idiots just trying to wipe it off from dry and leave huge scratches all over. Over here the goddamn seagulls seem to eat stones.

    I carry water in a spray & cloth in the boot, both home & work = random poop, spray with water, give it 5, wipe away, simple

    Ag bird dropoing wipes wont damage wax either.

    I use bird poo remover spray nothing special halfords jobbie spray leave for a few mins gently wipe off / spray again and wait then wipe if required.
