    Does the pink bit open up like a flap? On most things the female part of the connection has a tab to open then clip back when the male section is inserted...

    Turn it off and on, if that fails turn your saxo upside down, or PM prickle for reject crisps in assorted flavors, shaped mainly like a "cock 'n' ballz"

    That looks almost well and truly fucked. Though your last one option would be this: if you have a proper solder iron and the skills to go with it, you could solder on small electronic sized wires and rewire it that way. It's not that hard, I used to do that a lot on sony walkmans.

    The easiest way to do it is to thinly coat all the wires ends with solder, as little as you can then apply on the connections with the iron. Once all reconnected just apply some electrical tape on top to prevent shorts and bobs your uncle.
