16v Conversion

   Right i'm about to convert my s2 rallye to 16v and theres a few issues which are confusing me.
   
   i been told that 16v engine loom will plug straight into the car loom and it will fire up. Are all the single plug engine looms the same?
   
   i got a toad alarm on the car as well, does anyone know i can just cut it out without effecting the car??
