Radiator change help please

  1. #1
My radiator has sprung a leak so going to change it, already have the radiator. Been looking online for a part that I can't see to find or know what it's called either best way tk describe it on the radiator on one side there's is 2 holes and the smaller one underneath has like a cap screwed in with an Allen keys fitment. On my old rad it's pretty rusty so want to put a new one in
Bit don't know the part number or where to look? Any help is very much appreciated and thanks in advance

Call a local Citroen dealer and they should be able to supply it. I always call without part numbers as they are awkward to find for saxos in my experience.

All sorted thanks for trying to help turns out its for the thermostats but on my car it's located somewhere else. Rang citroen and they don't sell the blank screws to fill the hole so brought an old thermostat from the scrappy to fill it

Yeah my fan switch is located somewhere else, the fan does kick in at the right time so where it is. It does work maybe its different on some models like mine? I don't actually need the switch I needed the blanking bolt for it

Fan switch in rad is for mk1s like mine and cross over year cars, 3 plug later year cars are ecu controlled. Some parts places still supply rads with this missing and put it down as a fit for later cars which it is but you need a blanking plug or fit the switch. Will work just as well mind though just can catch you out if you didn't know it was there
