What engine oil do you use on your 3 plug VTS?

   Since i've replaced the old oil (Car Lube 5w 30 Fully Synthetic) with the Castrol GTX 10w 40 Part Synthetic i noticed the engine temp sits a little higher than before,i was thinking,i might be wrong,that maybe this oil isn't much suitable for the 3 plug engine,i had the same exact oil on my old 1 plug VTS and didn't notice any change,should i just go back to the 5w 30 spec?
   Has anyone had any similar experience?

   It shouldn't make that much of a difference, they are supposed to use a 10w40
   Semi synthetic anyway
