Engine wont start

    2000 furio.
the car as been sat outside for the last few months, I resently tried to start it and found the battery was flat. I fitted a new battery and still it wont turn over very fast like a flat battery. The battery as 12.94 volts so I believe its fine, even with jump leads I get nothing. It as been suggested to me the starter was screwed so I fitted a known good 2nd hand jobby today but still nothing.

What do I need to get it running?

Seized alternator sounds about right, as above, loosen the belt off then try and start it. If it's seized then it's fixable, can get it spinning again with effort and lube!

Better yet turn it by hand with a wrench if it turns then that belt side is ok

Mine seized twice in its lifetime, you can get it moving if you put some effort in!
