Marks left on paint after t-cut

#2You got it detailed and they used T-cut??
It's absolutely terrible stuff, far too abrasive and yes it'll leave scratches.
Who on earth calls them self a detailer with that in their arsenal lol? I'd rather use a house brick.
It'll now need machine polishing with a 3 stage system then some glaze, wax then sealant. -
#3If the paint looks like it's come off you'll need it resprayed.
-
#4I believe they used T-cut and how hard will it be to polish it? should I post some pictures to show the damage?
-
#5As Tommy says. If the paints off its respray i'm afraid or a replacement panel.
Chuck some pics up -
#6You can see where the paint gets lighter

#7That's shagged
-
#8what would be cheaper getting it sprayed or replacing the wing?
-
#9Cheaper for a wing tbh and Silver being a twat to match too.
I'd go for a new wing1 user thanked this post: -
#10do you know where I could get one? unless I go to a scrappy and have a look around
-
#11Since your local, motor hog in North Shields have a couple of silver ones in. Not sure on the paint code though.
-
#12itll be eycc mick
-
#13On the door it has EZRC for the paint code cheers guys total legends
-
#14Suprised. thought they were eycc lol. stand corrected on that.
-
#15Why don't you take it back to the place you had it detailed? They should sort it out if they caused it.
Why did you get a 1.1 Saxo detailed? -
#16Didn't get a receipt and because it was a mess inside and out due to moving house I couldn't do it and I searched on the motor hog website but apparently it only has a black VTR wing
-
#17Doesn't matter if you didn't get a receipt! If someone scraped paint off your wing in a car park you'd expect them to pay - but you've paid someone for a service which they fucked up!
Why should you have to pay more to recitfy it? -
#18I'm gonna have a drive down there now to see what they say but I doubt they'll do anything
-
#19No reciept no proof really.
talking from experience on that lol. -
#20Haha exactally thats what they said so they denied touching the car
-
#21goes on top of why no car park pikeys ever touch my car.
-
#22Anyone know where I could get a new wing unless I buy I new one but then have to find somewhere to get the right paint
-
#23local scrappy
-
#24Can't think of any around here that have Saxos in
-
#25
-
#26Go back to the place that did it & raise merry hell,I would.Quote:You can see where the paint gets lighter

#27Cheers and I tried they denied doing anything to the car
-
#28Where done it out if interest?
-
#29I've been on the motorhog website, they have a few silver as is in 1.1 to VT's. Email them and see what they have. They'll transport any part from any of their yards to the North Shields yard to collect.
-
#30Go back to them and explain what you have here. T cut shouldn't ever be used with detailing, I know a detailed very well and he's very good and in is products box there is not one car plan product! He only swears by Autobrite, farelca iirc, only liquid compounds! Mainz car products no cheap tcut shit! Tcut is what the old guys use and personally it's useless!
-
#33Dont know if its my ancient eyes or not, but i cant see any damage...
-
#35Fuck lacquer thug life
-
#37No mate my spell check was broke but its fixed now didn't know how to spell that shit2 users thanked this post: ,

#38Wurd broo

#39Main reason why I would never give my car to someone I don't know to clean / detail it.
For a detailing company to say that there's no proof they detailed your car tell's you all you need to know about that company.
