Service indicator??

   Iv recently serviced my car myself and have done what it says in the manual to remove the spanner implying a service is needed, however on enitial start up im still being told im overdue a service.... Any way of changing this without going to a garage? Thanks in advance

   Surely there must be some way of resetting the service mileage?

   Put the key in but have the electrics and ignition fully off. Press down the left hand, black stalk on the speedo and keep it held down whilst turning on the ignition. On the screen, it'll show a spanner with a countdown from 10secs, 9secs, 8secs etc, keep it held down till it goes to 0. Turn the key all the way back then when you turn it back on, it'll be gone

   On initial start-up it tells you how far until next service, as long as it doesn't say 0 it's not saying it's overdue

   I done this and it does get rid of the spanner impying im due a service but i get a mileage figure coming up saying -12050 at the moment... Meaning im overdue a service by 12050 miles! Which obviously I know im not but would like to sort this if I ever want to sell up. Which I dont just yet!

   Lol noo that means in 12,050 miles you're due a service! It's a countdown, it's normal
