Hi there, firstly, sorry if this subject is all too common, I have tried searching Google, but my problem seems to differ a little from others experiencing similar...
Tonight I picked up a 1.4 Furio that doesn't turn over, no clicking of relays, I can't even hear the fuel pump priming.
The above leads me to believe that this could be the relay under the ECU.
The key light flashes on the dash, from Googling, the consensus is that the transponder reader isn't picking up the chip, but then their is information that disputes this.
I don't know the history of the car, what's been tried, and what hasn't, other than the immobiliser box was removed, which I have plugged back in.
The last owner didn't even know how to open the bonnet. (Short term owner)
Anyone experience anything similar, if so, what was your course of action, before I dive into sourcing an unlocked ECU, transponder aerial, key being reprogrammed, etc?
