Help putting vtr engine in 1.4 furio

   I have just bought a vtr for parts for my furio, i am wanting to swop the engine for mine, what's involved? They are both 3plug ecu, im a apprentice mechanic so i have basic knowledge of changing and engine, just need to understand the immobiliser and ecu unlocking etc what are my options?

   If I were you I'd swap all the door locks, ignition barrel over etc so you have one key rather than two.
   
   If you swapped the barrel and imob unit over it'll work fine.

   So there is no order or sequence to removin items like immobiliser, ecu etc? I can just remove everything and refit to new car? Thanks for the reply!

   If you want to be extra cautious, then start the engine, when it's ticking over remove the imob box.
