#2immobiliser.. did you use the immobiliser that matches the ecu?
if not.. did you remove the original immboliser -
#3I used the immobiliser, ecu, barrel, chip reader and wiring loom of the doner car/engine

#4This is similar in symptoms to a problem I was having over the weekend mate. I'm at work shortly so I'll reply then. Few more details on the car / conversion? Is it 3 plug or single?

#5I'm new to saxos so bare with me haha, its a 3 plug ecu and the engine loom is a single plug, its weird because it fired straight up after the engine swap and was running fine of and on for a few days but i left it for half and hour and its like the key has decided itsself or the ecu has locked its self, as far as my knowledge it has no reason to do so?

#6The engine loom can't be single plug if you have a 3 plug ecu plugged into it without major loom surgery.
Do you mean the interior car loom is single plug? Are you confusing the round circular plug which connects the engine loom to the interior loom?
Just trying to work out what's what

#7Yeah the plug down near the batery is single plug, the ecu is 3, does that make sense?

#8Righty, it could well be that the transponder pick up ring around the ignition barrel is knacked and not reading the key. Any saxo one will fit, jump on your local french facey page and see if you can get hold of one. Failing that drop me a PM and I'll sort you one out, I've got a couple.
Something to rule out! -
#9Ive tried that, ive also tried an unlocked ecu?
