tailgate colour

    I cant be arsed getting a new tailgate but the paint on mine is fucked. Does anyone think spraying it black would suit an amazon green mk1 rather than trying to repaint it to match 15 year old faded green?

    Not a good idea, they don't peel properly and you would end up with Scxb instead.

    I tried to wrap mine with cheap ebay wrap instead of 3M stuff, much swearing, and a ball of wrap was the result

    Just get a green one. If it's faded in parts it's not going to make much difference anyway

    its not faded its fucked, no laquer on 2/3s of it and down to the primer in areas
