Mk2 vtr 16v.
i did the conversion over a year ago (14k milage) and it all works brilliantly apart from 2 annoying things. and for referance it was a single plug to single plug conversion.
1) the left indicator sometimes wont light up on the dash, if it does work after about 10 mins or so it will stop. doesn't work with the hazards either but all bulbs work and flash propperly just not on the dash?
2) the battery light comes on after about 10 mins of driving, still charges fine but just the lights on. being a single plug its not common as i know on 3 plugs its because of the plug being close to the manifold. i have got a vtr alternator on atm but i've heard alot of people say that there different amps ect but theres a place near me that refurbs starters and alternators and they have said there the same amps and voltage?
silly little problems i know but annoying
