As the title says really, if I fit an aftermarket steering wheel, when I re-fit the standard wheel will the airbag light go straight back off?

#2You'll need a 2.2 ohm resistor.
-
#3So when the standard steering wheel goes back on after the aftermarket one comes off, the light will still stay on?
-
#4No if you connect the airbag plug back.
-
#5Ahh ok good thank you, i didn't want to set the alarm light on and then have no way of reverting it back to standard
-
#6It resets by itself don't worry.

#8Most likely the connector under the passenger seat doens't have a secure connection.Quote:Mine has a simalar problem.. When I turn ignition on air bag light goes off... Which i excellent lol.. The proper way is to cut off the connectors and join the wires using spade terminals. then fully insulate them with tape. -
#9If you pop to citroen they sell insulated connectors where you insert each end of the wires, then heat up the solder in the middle to form a connection.Quote:Most likely the connector under the passenger seat doens't have a secure connection.

#10But you need to cut that if you take the seat outQuote:If you pop to citroen they sell insulated connectors where you insert each end of the wires, then heat up the solder in the middle to form a connection.

also requires heat.
Crimping is easier
That is by far the simplest way though, never used em before.
