Saxo bottom arm

    Is the vtr bottom arm differant to the 1.4 i have one of each and one of the balljoints is loose even though the pinch bolt is tightened all the way

    They should be the same iirc, either way if it's different the only difference is the ARB point so if you're stuck you can simply remove the ARB for a few days.

    The ball joint is fucked if there's play in it, the pinch bolt simply secures the notch in the correct place in the bottom of the strut.

    The play isn't in the ball joint itself, the pin moves in the strut but the pinch bolt is tight up, it has a vtr strut and a furio strut, I'm guessing that the holes in the struts are a differant inner diameter? Just wondered if anyone knew

    The struts fucked then matey.

    Over time, they can get opened up and wear inside so that the ball joint pin moves. If the ball joint is fine and the pin is moving in the strut even when the pinch bolt is tightened, you need a new strut.
