Mileage Correction

How does one go about this? Is there software to do this over ODB? I'm sure there was a guy who did it a while back.

I've converted my 106 with a 16v conversion and dials, I want to set the mileage back to the shell mileage so the MOT's are consistent, and so I don't get utterly hammered by my insurance company next year for doing 65k miles instead of 6k lol.

I've recorded the engine mileage at conversion and have documents to back that up, but I'd rather the odometer was correct to the shell.

The management / clocks is 3 plug VTS.

Looks like you have to adjust one of the chips on the dials to change it... unless you have analogue clocks then it looks fairly easy to take them apart?

Had a quick Google and prices seem to start from 40 quid unless you send them off to someone on here with a few Greggs pasties thrown in..

Google it to find the closest place to you, I think most places will require you to send them the clocks though.
