Weird problem, no indicators and then won't start

   Hi,
   
   Got a problem with the Mrs's little 1.1 2003 saxo. It started yesterday, she was driving back from work and had to brake suddenly, she then noticed the indicators no longer worked.
   Got home and put the car on the drive, went out the next morning went to start it, turned the key and there is a noise from the fuse box and the car won't turn over. Anyone had anything like this before?
   I am away with work at the moment so am after some ideas to check when i get home tomorrow.

   I know its probably an obvious reply, but have you checked the fuses?

   Not checked anything yet, i am away with work and will be home tomorrow so after ideas of things to check.

   Check the hazard warning light switch,see if that works mate.

   Check the battery first, try and jump start it.

   I don't think its the battery as the radio and all the electrics still work when you put the ignition on, but when you turn the key to start it nothing happens, and the indicators don't work, but she said there is a clicking noise from the fuse box, which i would imagine is the indicator relay.
   I think it is going to be the usual shite French electrics.

   Got the car started still no indicators, put new rely on new stalk and new fuse still no joy. Only happened since she stopped suddenly.
   
   Any ideas?

   Check the earths on top of the gearbox and around the engine bay.
