Clunking noise from front driverside

   I have a Saxo VTR 2003, no mods.
   
   Between 5mph to 40mph, I hear a metalic clunking noise coming from the front driverside.
   
   Only happens at these low speeds and going over bumps. It sounds like it's coming from just behind the wheel (stuck my head out the window).
   
   Anyone had this problem before or know what it could be. I've had it since I bought the car 3/4 months ago.
   
   Wishbone? Droplinks?

   Droplinks or balljoint.

   Cheers mate. I think you may be right with the droplinks. When the front left wheel goes over a bump, the front right makes these noises which I believe is a sign of the droplinks going.

   There about £8 each so it's worth changing them both.
