    Hi All, Been going through tyres at a rate of knots (no crazy driving) both tyres worn on the inside right to the metal .

    Fck that 40 a pop every 3 weeks no chance, so today after work goes down gets 2 new tyres and the mechanic (allegedly) says i need ball joints swing arms i go buy these at 125 notes gets my neighbor who is a real mechanic puts car up on stands, checks out and fck all wrong with balll joints. (gutted, but got cash bck) so he looks at car and notices the wheel is toeing out and the spring attached to mounts is touching the inside of the car on the drivers side i can hand right around on the passenger side its touching

    anyone any ideas

    You go threw a set of tyres in 3 weeks? Lol

    Can be many things, if your neighbour is a real mechanic why can't he do it, if the works been done then there wont be nothing wrong with your ball joints? Lol weird

    Edit: read the bit wrong the bit about the ball joints.

    Update

    Had Tracking done (15 quid) National, Guy spent an hour trying to get tracking correct, says the nut on the tracking was loose .

    So today i am taking the whole lot out this morning to see if the strut is bent and why its touching the side of the housing
