Overheating Warning Light on from cold start

   Hey guys, the red light to warn of overheating comes on even from a cold start as soon as I turn the key in the ignition. I've left it idling with the bonnet up and it seems that the rad fan isn't working. Could this be the source of the problem? Cheers

   Get a new coolant temp sensor. False highs when they're fooked.

   Probably as above, though have you tried bleeding the system at all.
