do you need an insurance certificate for....

   taxing a car? i had my car around 9 days but still not received any insurance certificate through the post, will i just be able to go to the post office and give them my reference number? or could i just tax online?

   Not anymore! You used too but the post office can look on their computer and see if its insured or not

   Most companies don't send a hard copy out now.
