rubbing noise from clutch?

   Hi
   
   Driving to work, i noticed a few strange noises, when i was changing gear i noticed a low pitched sqweeking noise, but intermitent, so drove with the clutch down and you can hear it most of the time, if its out of gear and coasting you cant hear it, only when your doing about 30 40 anything above or below it doesnt make a noise
   
   Any ideas? Its a 03 plate diesel

   Can you get a vid?
   
   Off the top of my head it could either be a noisy / fucked clutch release bearing, or it could be a noisy shaft, but that's more likely to be a knocking noise.
   
   If it's the release bearing it should disappear when you put the clutch in.

   Well there doesnt appear to be any knocking noises. But when the clutch peddle is pressed it makes the noise, and when its not being pressed it stops, so guessing its that. How difficult is it to change?
