Repair leaking sunroof (rust)

   Ok so as can be seen from the photos rust has been eating away underneath the sunroof.
   Any advice on fixing this, would it need to be welded or would the like of fibreglass be enough to seal it up?

   I used fibreglass for mine, mine wasn't that bad, but I used fibreglass and it still leaked so I used fibreglass to cover the hole, then smeared some bathroom sealant, or any silicone over it just to seal it and I then did the same on the underside! So it was well sealed and it hasn't leaked since

   grind the metal back, treat the rust and then fibreglass

   fibre glass for sure then hammerite around the area inside too , for stopping rain getting in once done mate and your going to laugh here ! apply loads of Vaseline around the weather seal , since I did mine no leaks at all

   If your keeping the car weld it,if your selling it on in a shorts space of time then fibreglass it.
