#2could it be the ignition barrell? Its recently had an unlocked ecu fitted to it and ran fine for a few days, thought maybe it was the throttle body as it wouldnt idle, so removed it, cleaned it and polished it up, struck up and idled then died.

#3what lights come on the dash when you let the key off and it dies?
-
#4all the ignition lights, as if to say i that ive only turned the key 2 turns!

#5Any suggestions?

#6Is the pump priming?
-
#7Ignition barrel
-
#8The pump doesn't prime when you turn the ignition on no, but i hard wired it in so it worked and still nothing. With my ecu being unlocked can i fit any old barrel and it will continue to run?
-
#9as long as the ECU and the immobiliser box are matched. i dont think it matters what ignition barrel you use as long as the ECU can identify the key.
-
#10Dont have an immobiliser anymore, i removed it
-
#11was the engine runnigne when the immob was removed?
-
#12it was mate yes, used it a few times since i removed it too, ran perfectly fine
-
#13in that case, you just need to swap out the ignition barrel and locks associated with the old key, or if you can, get a new barrel set to match your current key
-
#14thought that would be the case but wanted to double check, thanks

#15no problem, happy to help
