Petrol Tank Balnk

   I have just brought a MK 1 VTS. Raising the back seat and the inspection ports for the fuel tank I noticed the ns is blanked off with the fuel pump being in the os, unlike my VTR. The main question is the blank on the ns , can this be removed in order to fit another fuel pump. This is for rallying purposes so I can switch the pumps if I feel there is a problem in stage.The screw thread is there for the retainer ring. I am unsure at this stage whether the blank can be removed or will have to be drilled out.

   The blank just pops out.

   If you fitted a fuel tank from a s1 106 then you could fit 2 pump as they have pump 1 side , sender the other as standard.... Could fit 2 saxo pumps instead, same fitment

   Should of said sorry it is a Mk1 '98MY. I have seen it done and seemed the ideal opportunity to try to fit two pumps now seeing the tank setup. By fitting the two and using a 'y' piece to connect the feed and return I cant see why I cant do it. Is there any particular reason why the return and feed cant be used in the conventional way. My VTR had a very weird set up and just seemed ass about face.
