ABS and handbrake light on

    So I have been busy trying to fix this sh*t problem about my handbrake light and my abs light being constantly on. I did almost everything I read in other threads.
    Thinks I did:
    1. Change all ABS sensors
    2. Change all handbrake cables
    3. Top handbrake fluid
    4. Change the little handbrake switch
    5. Check ECU for error code’s…. no codes
    All are original parts from Citroen dealer.

    So I thought maybe there is something wrong with my dashboard.
    I ordered another VTS dashboard and fitted it in to see what happens.
    This is what happened. The ABS and the handbrake lights went off. I thought yes I fixed it but…. now my temperature gauge is not working.

    Why does my temp gauge work with my 1st dashboard with all the ABS and handbrake failure and not with the new 2nd dashboard?

    Could it be that I have a VTR water temperature sensor that only works with a VTR dashboard and not with a VTS dashboard?
    I have looked on internet; everybody is talking about a green and a blue sensor. This is what I got.


    They are not even the same connectors, is that a problem? Are those the correct sensors and connectors for a VTS?
    Anyone can help or give some tips?

    Had problems with ABS sensors before.

    If you have code reader see if you got option to reset everything on it I had to get my rear abs sensor fixed however even after changing it was still showing abs light on. Eventually found needed to change cable then also clear all reset etc and after that was done everything was back to normal.

    He ended up using 2 different ones as one didn't show anything yet the order did. then used the one that shown the error code on it with abs sensor showing rear offside got it changed over went to local garage who had ecu seen the code on it reset and cleared and no errors or codes on it.

    With VTR's and VTS theirs not much difference from them but when it comes down to electrical theirs all sorts from what I have seen on other places.

    When I get to it providing I know enough to do it going to be making a few VTS guides once I decided on what am doing next and starting from their making pictures as I go along and a nice video too.
