Mk1 gearbox on Mk2

   I've got the gearbox from a single plug VTR but I think it was a crossover model as the engine it was with had a silver rocker cover.
   Just wondering if Mk1 or Mk2 gearboxes are different at all or are all ratios an bolt holes etc in the same place?

   any MA gearbox will fit a Saxo, with the exception of early 106/AX boxes IIRC.
   
   all sensors and fittings are the same

   Some people say there were 2 different vtr boxes but I can't confirm that to be true or not. Either way id be fitting an S box

   But I haven't got an S box lol or I'd fit one yeah but I've got an R box so that's what I'll have to work with
