Mazda 323 roll cage in a saxo?

  1. #1
    Hi all

I got my hands on a expesive roll cage for a old mazda 323 Gti. I was wondering would it be posible to fit it in a saxo? The roll cage is a bolt in one and all of the parts join together with screws.

Maybe i am better just selling it and trying to get one that fits a saxo?

Sorry for the stupidly odd question.

    What do you think?

Could always be re manufactured. With all the off road nuts in Iceland I'm sure there'd be no shortage of places to do it.

Yes i was thinking that but i am thinking to do it my self. I tried to put the back cage because its a one big piece it did not fit just by a tiny bit. so i am thinking to cut and weld or cut off a bit and put a bigger pipe over and screw it together.

I will make pic of how it looks today and the manufacturer.

Sell it to some one who has a 323, then buy one for the saxo ? maybe thats too easy though

I really think for safety's sake get a proper saxo one.
Cutting up the cage and putting new bars in etc etc is a long winded process to be done right and to be honest it will end up almost entirely new I'm sure so I would say sell it on and get a proper job

I have think about it and it seems to be just to much work of doing its better to maybe try to sell it on ebay and get a saxo cage.

Maybe some of you know what its worth...?
