Which oil should I be using and when?

   Hi,
   
   Yesterday I became part of the Saxo club!
   
   I purchased a silver Citroen Saxo 1.1 Desire.
   
   I have been doing my research and checking which oil to use but everyone is saying different?
   
   Most answers said 10W40
   
   Do I go part synthetic or full synthetic?

   I use fully synthetic but semi is fine. Don't overlook the gearbox oil too.

   So would 10W40 be the one to use?

   A semi synthetic 10w40 is fine, it's what the engine range was designed for. Gearbox oil should be a 75w80, preferably total
