right, its been a long summer of hard work to get the interior of my car done. i have tried to do as much of the work done myself with a little help from my friends.

i hope to hear some good feedback from you all as im very pleased with how its turned out on the inside.

now its time to start saving for the work to begin on the out side after the winter.

lol its not that hard really because the screen its touch screen and links to the head unit so i can controll the head unit with the screen.

but as for the friends changing the songs there is nothing i can do about that lol.

well the screen is touch screen and linked to the head unit so i controll everything with the screen. the only thing i cant controll is my friends changing the song!

looks good, think you need to do something with the steering wheel though now, looks a little out of place
  11. #11
Very nice mate, how much it set you back? how long did it take?
  12. #12
looks very nice , how much did it cost to do all that. Not sure if i like the fabric on the centre console but the rest of it is amazing
  13. #13
its not too hard to take the dash out. three bolst on the inside and three out side under the window wiper cover.

well i did all the sanding my self and all the modifcations on the dash, doors etc so all i had to pay for was leather re-trim that was £720 which included the roof and £200 for sprayin all the plastic trim inside the car.

the centre console is done in the same leather as my seats, doors etc. i think it fits in well with all the other bit that i had done.

    cheers for the comments people

The interior is sooo nice mate and you did a really good job trimming the boot and the door cards ypurself.
The pictures do not do the car justice!
When you have the outside finished its going to blow people away.

p.s could you take some pictures of your side panel doors etc. like to see them in proper detail too

    Looks the business mate!
  17. #17
how did you get the dash and doors smooth? did you sand them down or did you put something on top of the plastic to get a smooth finish??

also where did you get it retrimmed?
£720 is very good for all that work

i would also like to see a pic of the door cards

looks class mate really nice job  i take my hat off for you!!!!

as said above...it will be targeted lol make sure you protect it enough!!

get a racing wheel, the standard one looks a bit.......out of place lol!!
  22. #22
yes i have been looking at new steering wheels but i want something quite subtule and not something to spaceage looking. (also needs to be practical as its an everyday car)

i will try and sort some more detail pictures out tomorrow at some point.

and i had the re-trim done at http://www.schaffinoleather.co.uk/. top job really.

as for the red on the doors, the centre console, the bit around the speedos and my sun visors they where done at auto interiors and i could never fault a single thing they have done for me.

    cheers chris

thats really nice! love your interior...agree about the steering wheel though, does look a bit odd
  24. #24
what bout the dash and doors, how did you smooth them?
  25. #25
looks nice mate, have you got any full pics of your doorcards?need some ideas, cheers.
  26. #26
That looks fookin lush!!! you deserve rep
  27. #27
basically all i did was sand out that horrible leather effect that they create on all the plastic parts. other bits like the dip on the passenger side of the dash i just used fiber glass.

but it must be warned i had no car for a month due to taking all the bits out of my car, sanding then preping for spraying then actually being sprayed.

and sanding that plastic seems easy enough when you can use a electric sander but most places you cannot use the sanders so its back to good old fashioned sand paper and elbow grease.
