Conversion to 16v engine mount info??

   Howdy all
   
   106 1.1 to 106 gti obviously engine mount needs changing does anyone have any ideas Or tips or is cutting and welding the only way??

   You need to cut out the section with the engine mount,then weld it onto the 1.1.I believe you can also buy specially adapted engine mounts for these conversions too.

   Same problem I am currently facing in the AX. I think this is the conversion mount in question

   You can just use the 1.1 engine mount....

   Yeah not cheap is it, the 1.1 mount is the smaller pressed steel type isnt it? You don't need the cradle either as I understand?
