MOT fail

    Vtr has failed on emissions and rear shock bushes, now the emissions I can sort out (tester said it's probably the cat so will change that over) but I have an apex lowering kit and the cheapest I can find these rear shocks is £112 for the pair which I don't really want to spend at the moment and I'm looking for a new car anyway, would standard shocks get it through mot? It's lowered 50mm.

    Yes bung it on standard shocks for the mot,then swap over at a later date.

    I was just a bit worried about them bottoming out would they have enough movement?

    Muz runs standard rear dampers and has nailed many track days. Youll be fine

    Tbh i'd be more worried if it were the front end,the rear you can get away with.

    Will just stick some standard ones on it then hopefully they will do the job for now, cheers
