best way to fix top door hinge

   Hello,
   
   I have recently just got a Saxo Forte and the passenger side door drops badly when opening.
   
   
   
   i have removed the front wing and the door is removed, just placed back on incase it rained during the night. There is a small crack going up from the hinge that i will need to fix but i was wondering which is the best way to fix the hinge do i remove it and reweld or hammer it down and weld it back up?

   I would be tempted to just hammer it down and weld it, whats the bottom hinge like?

   I had mine like that recently, had to weld it back in place. We took the door off completely to do it (some places will say take the wing off instead) hammered it back in place then welded it. As jokerer mentioned, check the bottom hinge aswell as the weight of the door will be forced on that now.
