saxo Gear change problem

    i bought this saxo about a month ago, and the gears changes have never been good(gear stick floppy) but i have learnt to cope with it, but now when i go into second or forth the ball joint sometimes pops out here is a video of what is happening underneath.

    this one is when the ball joint stays in but only just:

    Replacement ball joint or linkage needed. Never had the problem myself but had read the ball joints are common problems

    It all looks fairly new, has it been replaced recently?

    ^^ I did think it all looked quite new, possibly not fitted right? As I say I've never had gear problems so not sure how fiddly of a job it could be

    It does look very new but it wasn't me who did it. When it first popped out I put it back in then wobbled everything. To me nothing is majorly lose but I don't have a clue what I am looking for. I am just using 1st 3rd and 5th for now as it stays in the hole. Will take it to the garage tomorrow for diognostic. Hopefully won't cost lots ��
