Phone charger affects radio signal

   I have a USB car plug thing and whenever I plug a USB lead into it, the radio goes all crackly and it gets rubbish signal, as soon as I unplug the USB lead, the signal comes back crystal clear.

   Try a different USB port thingy?
   
   Tbh my van does this when the satnavs plugged in. Really annoying

   Probably a poorly grounded unit(the charger)

   Ok so last night my interior light would light up very dimly whenever I pressed the horn?! But today it not doing it, same thing so we think?

   Sounds like an earth issue,you checked all of them are tight with good contact?

   If its a cheapy little crap one from poundland I would sack it and get a dedicated charger. Those usb ones are crap and break after a few weeks

   It's a griffin one and ive had it since I had my last saxo so over a year old and it stills works ok etc. It's just this problem
