Hi all, i have a problem with the charging system on my saxo vtr 2002 model.sometimes when i put a volt meter across the battery posts it reads 14.1 volts engine running.if i switch engine off and retart it reads about 12.5 volts.if i then remove the plug with 2 wires on it that fits onto the alternator and replace it back on the alternator starts charging again.the teminals on the battery and alternator are spotless clean.Any ideas lads i just wasted 45 quid on a new battery.
